The lots that were built on were sites of old housing that was destroyed during the Tropical Storm Lee floods. The new duplexes are designed and built to all FEMA standards in relation to the flood plain, featuring elevated units with mechanical space and carports underneath.

The project utilized NYSHCR Housing Trust Funds ($3,400,000), NYSHCR Federal Housing Trust Funds ($835,000), LIHTC Equity from Raymond James ($6,733,723), NYSERDA Grant ($41,000), as well as a mortgage from NBT ($600,000) and deferred developer fees ($116,748)
